The Triumphant Return

[Bloodwing]

"Shall we what?" He asked playfully "Yes let us go and disappoint the men and show them just how much better we are than them." He said He then turn to the door and opened it for her letting her go first.

She rolled her eyes with a smile at him. She knew he knew what she meant... he was just playful. He could wait a day for some more of her good loving. She nodded and then went to grab her bag of gold and the list with signature for bets and went downstairs.

She made it to the landing and the regulars looked up and all moaned as he appeared just behind her. She grinned and then held out the list with names, bets, and signatures. All the men gave their coins up, but one man refused. She looked down at the list and then at him. "Uh. No. You said twenty. Not two. A bet's a bet. And you signed for it!" she demanded, tapping her foot impatiently.

He looked up at her, and she knew that he was all ready drunk. 'T'ink I care, whore?' he asked her. He stood up and wrapped his arms around her and slipped one behind her to squeeze her ass. 'Ow many men t'ink I could get her to bed wit me, eh?' he asked around. They all rolled their eyes and some stood up. 'Too bad your daddy ain't here to save you...' he said wrapping his arm around her shoulder and pulling her in so he could suck on her neck. She struggled to get free, this fat man was VERY strong. She grunted, shaking her head and butted backwards to hit him in the head. 'Oo... I do like 'em feisty!' he muttered.

She was shaking now, there was no way she could get away from him. Her eyes immediately met with Alex's... "help me..." she began to cry.... how humiliating....

Not all humans are bad infact a few spoke up and got a burly ready to kick the guys ass themselves. Probably because chivalry would bring them better luck with getting her willingly and they didn't feel like fight in an elf.

Bloodwing was on the other side of the Tavern collect a bet or two of his own. when one of them said. "Ait ya gonna help your girl?" He looked over at her. what he saw enraged him. In seconds he was at her side he grabbed the man by his greasy hair and with a jerk he slammed the guys head into the bar. the man got up and swung Bloodwing dodged and grabbed the man by the hair again throwing him to the floor. before he could get op rock from the earth below the floor board broke out of the floor and shackled the man to the floor.

He bent down found the mand gold pouch and took out the required coins not knowing Luna had already collected some so in stead of twenty she now had 22 from the man. He then held a ball of flame in his hand for everyone to see nearly everyone stepped back. "Luna, you choose his sentence." he said

In a flash, the man was torn from her and she stumbled away. She watched as the men that had stood tried to comfort her and she just shook her head. They stepped away as soon as Alex came to the rescue and lit his hand a-glow. He took the money from the man and gave it to her and she just dropped it in her bag and set it aside. He told her she chose his sentence and she did not know. She wanted him dead, she really did, but she knew him from being around here and he was nice other-wise... it was just the booze. She sighed and pulled Alex away as she raised her leg and dropped a full-blown ankle kick into his jewels.

He let out a loud scream and whimpered under her foot. She glared down at him. "How dare you. You have no idea who you're dealing with! I will spare you this ONE time. But if you even look at me in any other way than friendly, you're dead. Got it, bub?" she asked him. He shook his head and was still whimpering. She glared at him as she took her foot off and then grabbed up her money. She held her head high for a moment and then rushed out of the pub, her face in her hands.

She was forever humiliated.

As Luna stood there deciding his sentence the mans eyes when from Bloodwing to Luna and back. In Bloodwings eyes he saw no remorse Bloodwing was a cat, and he was nothing but a mouse. He knew that to Bloodwing his life was as meaning less an ant.It was with pure fear that he looked at Bloodwing, and at Luna he begged, begged for mercy his life was in her hands at a word she could snuff him out like a candle and he knew this man that stood over him wasn't afraid to carry out the worst of sentence. That look of helplessness that pleading for his life the look in that mans eyes pleased Bloodwing. he only wished both emotions where for him.

Luna carried out her own sentence the tavern was silent. Once she was finished he clenched his fist and the flame was snuffed out and at the same time the mans restraint crumbled into dirt the man was able comfort himself no, Then Bloodwing followed her out of the bar. Once outside he walked up and asked, "Are you alright?"

Standing in the streets, she felt a light rain began to fall as she stood there and cried around the corner of the pub. She was hiding. It was not that often that an elf could cry, but when it came to humiliation, loosing a loved one, or being in a lot of pain... they just let loose. She sobbed and then heard Alex's footsteps coming towards her. She heard him ask if she was all right, and all she could do was throw her arms around his neck, hiding her face against his chest and hug him tight. "N...no..." she answered between sobs. She sighed, shaking lightly and then calmed down in his warm embrace. "I'm sorry... I don't normally..." she paused and took a deep breath to fight away the rest of her tears and sobs. "..do this... But, oh.. how humiliating, Alex..." she said lightly.

"I'm sorry i wasn't there sooner." He said holding her in his arms protectively. Letting her cry. he was there for her now. He listened to her try and justify her tears. "Dear you're completely in the right I'm not going to judge you for this. Is there any where you'd like to go? Maybe to that guys house burn it down or something because I can do it even with the rain." He said

She shook her head. "How could we have known what was going to happen? It's not your fault." she said, brushing her tears off his Mithrel. His embrace gave her comfort... protection... she smiled lightly into the hug and let out a heavy sigh. What a joy it was to have someone to call her own. But as he explained that she was in the right, that he wouldn't judge her, and then asked if she wanted to go burn down his house. She laughed lightly and pulled away a little so she could see his face. She pushed some strands of his lovely hair out of his face, and just observed how attractive he was. Especially with the robes (though she liked him without them just the same).

"I don't care where... I... we can go on with our original plans to pick-pocket today..." she paused and pressed her face into his neck and took a deep breath. "You must be a gorgeous dragon..." she said, quietly.

He looked deep into her eyes. the rain causing her hair to stick to her face water beaded on the mithral robe keeping his almost bone dry. "We could but everyone seems to be inside becsue of the rain I'd say lets go to a tavern but we where just there." He said and then she brushed his hair aside and gave his dragon side a compliment. "Would i be overly proud if agreed with you?" he asked.

She smiled as he looked into her eyes and told her that everyone was mostly inside due to the rain and she nodded lightly. What to do, what to do? She thought about his offer of going back to the tavern, but he didn't sound too excited about it. She had an idea about what they could do, but she wasn't sure what the deal was with their promise to one another. She looked at up him and shook her head. "No... maybe a bit boastful..." she winked. "But I would agree." she laughed lightly and then hugged him around the middle.

"How about.." she pulled away from him lightly and looked back up at him. "..We go back to our room and just spend time with each other. I mean... We've both been around a long while.. I'm sure there are stories to tell while we dry out and warm up by the fire place..."

Man, she was going head over heals for him... she had to slow down.

"That is... if you want to..."

As he watched her he could swear there was something she wanted to say but was reluctant to. but he let it pass when she said the could go in and talk about eachother's past. it was a time to brag and explain. He nodded "I believe that could be nice." he said and then hand in hadn they went back around to the door. of the Tavern.

She smiled lightly as he agreed to her idea. She knew what would probably end up happening, but for the most part, just spending time with him and getting to know him would be a wonder. She took a deep breath as she entered the tavern, dripping from the rain outside, and marched strait up the stairs. She walked up to their room and opened the door, wringing out her hair. She looked at herself in the mirror. Oh how dreadful, her favorite gown was ruined due to the light rain. She sighed and then tied up her wet hair, as she pulled out a tunic and slack just to wear around the room. She walked over to Alex, smiling lightly and turned her back to him. "I know you just buttoned it.... but can you unbutton?" she laughed lightly.

Bloodwing followed Luna but on his way to the stair she stopped the waitress and asked her to bring up some tea. Gave he some coin and then followed Luna the rest of the way up the steps. Her wet dress clung to her form and he couldn't help but notice. He closed the door be him. He went to the fireplace and placed some of the provided fire wood into the hearth. And with a flick of the wrist the wood burned hot.

Once he was finished he heard Luna's request and grinned. He walked over to her. "Of course." he said undoing her dress, revealing that near perfect skin. There was no way they weren't going to fool around. "Here let me help you he said. pulling her dress down. He helped her undress and would have taken her then if hadn't know that Tea would be coming before long. so instead he removed the mithral robe and put it over her shoulders. The fine clothe was smother than silk, but protected from the chill of the air which was disappearing as the fire warmed the room.

Luna was lucky she had such a thoughtful partner. She had heard him order tea to their room and she smiled lightly to herself. She had not been this happy, content and cared for in a while. A long while. As soon as he was done with lighting the fire, she saw him grin at her question. He then helped her slip out of the dress. Again all ready? She wasn't ready... nor really in the mood after what had just happened.

She felt him slip the silky robe over her thin shouldersand she nodded to him. She reached for the blanket on the back of the couch and wrapped up. The last thing she needed was a cold. She was about to ask him a question, when a quiet knock came to the door. She walked to it and let the maid in. She set it on the table, whispered something to Luna, that made her smile, and left. Luna chuckled to herself lightly and then went to go sit on the large cushion on the floor by the table. She poured the cups of tea and added two lump to hers and a splash of cream. "Here Alex.... what would you like?" She asked him.

He sat down at the table. and listened to her question. "Just tea nothing special." He told her. "So Luna what is it you would like to know?" He asked. her For some reaon Bloodwing felyt as if he had done this before but didn't know the reason the the deja vu.
