Kojo's first week within the kingdom had its ups and downs he He met two members of the Ruling council. made a friend with another shape shifter and met a Drow whom he really didn't like for some reason. Once again it was high time for restocking his food stores. Maybe he could be hunting in human form. but he had no weapons other than a few bone daggers and a club he had made out of that first kill he had made with Orca.
He would have to make a blow pipe and poison some darts so he could do more as far as hunting But fore now he was a crocodile waiting for prey to come to him once again. He was almost invisible to animals on the bank the only parts of him above the surface of the water where his nostrils and his eyes watching and waiting for the right moment to strike.

A small bird swooped in over what appeared to be a log, landing neatly at the edge of the water. The long flight had made Orca thirsty, and though it was always better to drink from running water, his throat was currently dry enough he would've drank from sewage without complaint.
Actually, ew, no, scratch that.
The bird hopped forward, then backward, nervousness overtaking it, and a moment later he was the boy form again, looking around for any company. He didn't see anyone, no, but the thought came to mind that just because they weren't in his view didn't mean they weren't there. A brief pause, and then he was in the scruffy dog form, cold black nose raised to the air as he sniffed deeply. Nothing human, anyway. There were animals, as was to be expected, but he had little to fear from them, so he relaxed. It was hard to stay anxious while the dog anyway. The canine had too much joy in living.
Tail wagging, the dog lowered its head to drink.

Kojo the croc watch the bird as it fluttered about on the shore enjoying the company even though the company had no clue he was there and then the bird changed into Orca. if Kojo's grin wasn't already as wide as it could go he would have had a sneaky, devious little grin. His rear legs prppelled him slowly making him to do nothing more than drift. As he got closer orca turned into a dog, and then...
The placid water EXPLODED as Kojo snapped his tail and shot out of the water mouth filled with teeth open wide seemingly at the dog that had been minding its own happy business but when the croc landed his big maw snapped shut right next to the dog.

The dog heard the swish of the water, but paid little attention. After all, it wasn't like some little fish could hurt him--
"AAAAAAAAA"
Or at least, that's what he would have said were he capable. As it was, the dog let loose a wild yelp and fell back over itself trying to get away. The jaws of the mighty dragon oh gods that's a dragon for sure snapped near his head and he backpedaled ferociously, barking as loudly as his courageous little doggy heart would allow. He was brave in this form, yes, but not stupid, he knew he was little more than an appetizer to the beast. He thought about flying away, but if it truly was a dragon, then it could easily follow him up into the sky.
Only one thing left to do: fight back. He thought of the giant striped cat his friend Kojo had shifted into, and after a final bark, tried for it.
It didn't go so well.
Maybe it was the fact he was still kind of inexperienced at this whole shifting thing, or maybe it was because he didn't understand the tiger fully enough yet; either way, what he turned into was definitely not the great predator he'd seen in action the week past, oh no. A tiny white paw reached out as menacingly as possible, claws spread. Lips pulled back to reveal bared, needle-like teeth, and a hiss emanated from its open jaws. The cat's orange ears pinned back against its head, and its fur fluffed up to make it look much larger than it was. It was still no bigger than the dragon's foot.
Orca readied his battle-cry.
"Mrrrowwww!"
He wasn't going down without a fight, no way.

The was an od gurging sound that sounds like a growling laugh that disipated as the Corcodile became a black man wearing a dear skin tunic and pants, that was on the ground laughing so hard he had a tear in his eye. "Hehe what's that smell. I didn't scare you that bad did I?" He joked as he began to settle down and sit up. He was still giggling off and on. "Careful little guy don't hurt yourself he said to the little striped cat.

The cat, abruptly, was suddenly a teenaged human boy, his blue-green eyes huge and a deep blush covering his face.
"Kojo!" he squeaked, still fighting to regain his breath after the scare. "You can become a dragon? Ahhh, I thought you were gonna eat me for sure!"
There was a slight pause; Orca looked embarrassed.
"I, uh, didn't mean to change into the cat... That was a mistake. I was going for the big striped one you did before, but, uh, it didn't work out exactly."

"Heheh it was no dragon. Its called a crocadile. big big lizard that lives in the water most of the time. They wait for smaller animals to take a drink and well you can imagine the rest." He sat ther a moment and thought a moment. "So you really want to be come a tiger?" He said he could see the appeal. "If you like, because I scared you so bad I'll let you examine me in tiger form it may you with that goal." he said

Not a dragon, apparently. Just a really, really big lizard. He'd had no idea such a thing existed. There were some crazy things where Kojo came from. Orca was glad he'd grown up somewhere else.
"Um, well, it's so big and strong, you know?" A touch of awe entered his Caribbean eyes. "I think I almost got it, I just was kinda, uh, too scared back there to manage." He grinned wryly. "I think you can guess why."

He smiled Orca amused him. "I can i guess. I can understand, So then let me see you try it with less pressure?" He said with a smirk. Here I'll even let you copy." He said shape-shifting to a tiger sitting on its haunches his striped tail waged back and forth lazily his golden eyes watching orca with interest. If orca wanted to poke and prod he could he would be nice and not bite, but he doubted the boy would.

Orca hardly even flinched as the dark-skinned man in front of him was replaced by the huge cat-beast. What the wolf had seen as an amusingly colorful companion predator, Orca saw as a mass of beauty and might. The tiger was huge, and obviously an expert killer.
The boy sat still for a moment, blinking, chewing a bit on his lip, and then managed an, "Oh!" before he, too, was a tiger. He was a mirror image of the other cat, though the look in his own golden eyes was more surprise than Kojo's interest. He stood, paced, felt the muscles ripple along his body. Oh yeah, this was one strong cat. The tiger's mind was slightly like the wolf's, confident in itself and fearless of near everything. Man, he could take down an man in full armor in this!
Might have to someday, given his line of work.
He returned to the boy form, grinning big, near hopping on his toes in excitement. "Didja see, Kojo! I did it!"
Never mind how crazy he looked, dancing around a tiger on a deserted beach. Yep. Good thing no one was around, right?

Kojo became a man again sitting on the soft soil of the bank. "Good job. Have I shown you this one? Its really great for hunting at night." He said becoming a black Panther. It was visibly smaller than the tiger, about the size of Orca's own wolf for, Looking closely one could see that the coat wasn't seamlessly black in fact there where spots sped like Cs and Os all over the cat's body and its bright yellow eyes stood out in stark contrast to the body.

"No, you haven't," he responded, glancing over this new form. Another cat, this one black as night. He could definitely see what Kojo meant. This feline could blend in like a shadow itself where his wolf's coat would stick out. Very useful.
"You got a lot of forms, huh, Kojo?" he commented, grinning a bit. His own ability was somewhat limited, but slowly growing. Someday he'd be strong as Kojo was, he was sure.

Kojo became human again. "I've lost count. I've been able to do this since i was very young and my tribe encouraged me to learn more." He smiled. "My very first form was a green tree frog." He said changing into a frog that was bright green with big red eyes and big read feet. and then turned back. "My biggest form is the first one you met and let me tell you a snake that big even in the jungle is a rare site, mostly because animals don't usually live long enough to get that big. And my most deadly form is far from deadly looking. he said. and he once again turned into a frog this time he was blue and speckled black. and then back. I show you that one because i seriously wouldn't want you putting me in you mouth in that form. If you did you would die within minutes. There is no antidote for the poison its skin produced. Why he was giving the boy a lesson he wasn't sure maybe he felt bad that the boys talent was so mis treated by his own family and maybe he felt he could be a mentor. "If you ever want to try any other form all you have to do is ask I don't mind."

Orca grinned at the little frog form, but listened intently as Kojo spoke. The next frog was nearly the same, but colored a bit different. He almost moved in to touch it, despite himself, but his face chilled at Kojo's warning. Yeah, he'd remember the way that little creature looked from now on. It would suck to die from such a tiny little thing, after all he'd been through.
"Thanks," he told the guy, ducking his head shyly. "I'll, um, take you up on that offer, really." How nice, to have a family that encouraged your gifts. "My first one was the, um, the dog one you saw before. He was one of the shepherdin'' dogs, and he liked me a lot, he'd follow me everywhere." They weren't supposed to have favorites, but if he could have it would've been that dog in particular.
"I'm gonna learn a whole bunch of animals, too!" he told his fellow shapeshifter eagerly. "Maybe I'll learn one you don't know, an' I can show you!" Unlikely, but hey, it never hurt to dream.

"I hope learn one i don't, though you already know one, that wolf of yours is like the tiger of its own jungle. Only thing threatening that wolf are animals that aren't from around here, and maybe people." Kojo said.
(so short but no idea what to do)
