He couldn't help but grin. "Yeah, wolves are pretty strong. I can't really think of any animal that's outright good 'gainst humans, though." He was quiet a moment, musing, then spoke again. "Maybe that big lizard you had? The crock-o-dahl? Its scales, maybe... They might be strong 'gainst swords and arrows."
Orca shrugged. "I can't think of nothin' that would be good toward magic, though. Humans really just got us beat." Another pause, as he thought over what he had just said, then corrected himself. "Animals, I mean. They got animals beat with that stuff. Can you do real magic, 'sides shape-shiftin', Kojo?"

It was true that humans where at the top well actually dragons where at the top of the food chain. He listened to orca's question about him having other powers. "It just so happens that i do." He looked around for something with which to demonstrate an then notice a maple seed stuck in Orca's hair, this was one reason he preferred not having hair on his head. "Here." He said pulling the see from his hair.
He placed the seen on in the ground and trough some dirt over it burying it. "Alright now watch." He said putting his hands over the little mound of dirt. The dirt shifted as the seed inside split and sent it roots deeper into the soil. and a stem skyward where it poked up out of the ground a grew a little leaf. "I can only do that for plant life. I can also speed up the natural healing process of anything that still living. These powers are new to me. I only know about them because I remember those more advance than me practicing this magic." he explained,

Orca blinked when Kojo retrieved the seed from his hair. That had to be a magic trick in itself, right? No way his hair was that messy... right?
He leaned forward to watch, though, with rapt attentiveness. His eyes widened when the stem broke the surface and then grew the leaf, and he turned his teal gaze to Kojo in awe.
"Wowwww," he commented happily. "Thas' amazing! You could grow yourself your own forest, huh?" With such abilities, Kojo was probably completely fine on his own, living off the fat of the land and such. "If ya need money, y'could prolly grow stuff out here and take it and sell it in the market, y'know." Orca himself would have a tough time braving the city, even for money, but Kojo probably didn't share the same fears he did.
