Tiy smiled as she saw the girl's eyes express her gratitude. Tiy chuckled lightly as she asked if she really had a place for her to stay. Tiy nodded. "Indeed I do. It's no problem at all unless you have another place to stay." she knew that options were always open, though not always the most sanitary. Tiy awaited to see if she would have company to bring home. She only hoped that Jez wouldn't pounce her.

Wow. Xannon hadn't expected this when she sneaked up here tonight.
"Well, then, I.. um... I accept!"

Tiy nodded. "All right. This way..." She turned around, motioning with her hand to follow, and then paused. "We can take the stairs this time." she joked, smiling lightly. She walked down the wall a few meters to a doorway by a guard that nodded to her and then looked at the girl behind her. "She's fine. She will be staying with me. Please let the other guards know she is allowed through the gate."
"Yes, M'lady." he nodded and opened the door for them. Tiy smiled back at her and then held out her hand, offering her to go first.

Alright. Stairs. Xannon could do stairs.
The short lady walked quickly, rather excited to have a temporary home. She doubted this was an elaborate kidnapping by the noblewoman (men were the scary ones), so she felt pretty trusting for the moment. And anxious. And relieved. All at once.
"Why, thank you! Thank you very much," said Xannon, her breaths coming out in white puffs, "Ma--Tiy."
Xannon darted through the opening, her winter [only] cloak whipping about behind her.

She smiled and nodded to Xannon and watched as she rushed down the stairs. Tiy smiled and followed after her. She had not seen anyone more excited to use the stairs ever. Of course, Tiy imagined, that after climbing the ladder that girl did, she would be just as enthusiastic about the stairs. She laughed lightly and stepped off the bottom step, looking at Xannon. "So! Which way to the market place...?" She tested. She smiled lightly, a quizical stare on her face, awaiting the young womans' answer.

"The marketplace?" asked Xannon blankly.
Oh, the marketplace. She'd been to the marketplace. She'd even had a run-in with that half-drow thief there. What was her name? Oh, right. Zelda.
"Oh, it's"--she directed a slender arm southward, its long sleeve drooping toward the ground--"thataway."

Xannon did not seem to understanding of the question, and her blank expression confirmed that. Tiy smiled at her and waited, she knew that she had been there before. She nodded lightly as she pointed southwards. Tiy reached out and turned her arm slightly to the right. "It's a little southeast. Remember you take a right at the fountain...." And so they began to head towards the market.
