For one day, there was peace. The sun shined brightly over the kingdom and Tiy sat in the window of her second story bed room. She sighed lightly, watching the town, and stroked Jez’s fur that was getting quite long. She looked down at Jez. “We need to trim your coat. It will be spring soon and I don’t need your hair all over the house,” she teased. Jez looked up at her and rolled her eyes and replied with a ‘fine’. Tiy smiled and kept petting her as she looked out over the harbor.
Where did her Zeion go to? It had been years since she had last seen or heard from him, and people were beginning to believe that he was dead. In fact, she knew that’s what most of the Kingdom thought, they just did not have the heart to tell her. She sighed lightly and Jez nuzzled her thigh through her green dress, trying to cheer her up. Tiy smiled and leaned over to give Jez a hug. “At least I still have you,” she stated, smiling. She let go after a long moment and then thought about it: she should probably make some dinner. She stood and made her way out of her room, down the hall and stairs and to the kitchen, Jez trotting along behind her.
A lot had changed since Zeion. She had magic-ed the house to be much larger on the inside than it was outside. This gave her more space, and didn’t irritate the neighbors. She grabbed a large porcelain bowl from the cupboard and began to mix in ingredients for bread. She stood next to the counter, the bowl pressed against her belly, one arm wrapped around, and her other hand stirring and kneading the dough with a wooden spoon.

Zeion approched the house he and Tiy lived at as he walked to the house in his new monk robes. He really hoped she wasn't mad at him. It had been so long. He got to the door, and took a deep breath. He removed his hood, and opened the door. Thats when he saw her the reason he left to get stronger. His lovely wife Tiy. He tried to smile at her but he knew being gone this long was bad.
He sighed and said."I'm home." He said with a small smile. If only she knew the training he went through to make himself stronger. He still had on the ring she gave him he refused to give that up to make his weapons stronger. He stood just inside the house after opening the door and closing it behind him. He leaned against the door knowing that their will be a fight.

Jez settled by the fireplace and decided to nap until dinner was ready. Tiy nodded to her and then kept going at the dough. She knew that it would be a couple hours until the food was ready, but there was a lovely basket full of apples and foreign fruit on the counter. She reached over and took a bight out of an apple and went back to stirring the dough.
She looked up quickly as the door opened and the porceline bowl slipped from her hands and shattered on the floor by her feet. She saw... no... it had to be a ghost. She didn't believe it was him. He was dead... how was this... no. It wasn't possible.
She just stood there and looked at him, mouth parted, not moving from where she was. Partially in fear that it could very well be a ghost... and partially because she had no idea what to do.

"Tiy? What's wrong?"Zeion said as he walked toward her he stopped for a moment and petted Jez."Jez it's been too long. I can tell you've gaurded Tiy well." He said scratching behind the wolf's ears. He walked to Tiy and touched her cheek gently with his hand.
Zeion smiled and said."I've missed you so much my love. I know I've been gone for too long." He said as he leaned in and kissed her forehead."You would not believe the people I've met. I met monks who worship the moon." Zeion said but that was not all he learned he discovered why he loved the night time and why his hair was this grey color. He hoped she'd realise he is really back.

What was wrong?! How about he just walked into their her house as if nothing was wrong: as if time had never passed. She watched him as he walked over and petted Jez, telling her she had done a good job watching Tiy. She popped her head up and let out a low growl. Maybe Jez didn't even believe he was real? Or maybe she was just as pissed off as Tiy was that he left with no note, word, notice....
Nothing.
He walked up to her and she didn't move as he touched her face, she wanted to believe that he was real, she really did, but so much of her believ- no. Knew that he was dead. He kissed her forehead and pulled away telling her about how much he missed her and who he had met. She raised her hand and slapped him hard across the face.
"How dare you!"

Zeion moved his head after the slap."I deserved that." Were the first words from his mouth. He knew she was mad. He had been gone 2 long years. He wondered if Zata had delievered the note he left behind with this reaction he knew that awnser.
Zeion didn't say a word as he turned away."I guess Zata didn't deilever the note I left." He did leave a note but he wondered why was it not deilivered? The note explaned why he was leaving he guessed that he would have to say what was on that note. He sighed and said."I left to become stronger to protect you, Jez, and this kingdom. When that man broke in I knew I wasn't the best gaurdian anymore. I went to become a more powerful warrior to protect everyone and protect all in this home because they are the most important ones to me." He said and looked back at her. He had a look in his eyes the same look they had when they meet a pure truth was spoken to her.

"Damn right you did." she snapped back. She crossed her arms and scowled at him as he turned away from her.
A note? Zata? Who was that? And what note? To become stronger? She was still scowling at him. He expected her to just take him back? After leaving for two years, with no word, not even a message sent from where ever the hell he had been. He spoke about when the man broke in and stabbed her in the side, that he didn't feel strong enough to protect her or Jez, or this kingdom. He looked back at her, truth written in his eyes. Her slit eyes ignored it, he wasn't going to win her over that easily. He had broken her heart and she was a bitch when that happened.
"Not strong enough? What the hell are you talking about?! You were an adventurer for the gods' sake! You traveled miles without stopping. Just... UGH!" she threw her hands up and turned to walk to the mantle surrounding the fire place. She turned back to him after gathering her thoughts.
"Everyone believed that you were dead. Dead. And you know what? I believed it too. What kind of husband just leaves his wife unannounced and with no word for MORE THAN TWO YEARS!?" she yelled, tears starting to fall. "And you expect me to just take you back like that? Well. I've got news for you: unless you prove that you were somewhere other than with a cheap whore, you're not welcome here."

"You want proof? Fine Let me show you something the people of the moon taught me."Zeion said as he removed the upper portion of his robe. He closed his eyes and began to whisper the incantation of the moons light which caused lines to apper they looked like tattoos shining like a full moons light. As he finished the chant he opened his eyes to look at her, his eyes a brighter color than before."I have learned so much I learned about myself and why I am the way I am." Zeion then showed her the ring."I never took it off. You were always in my heart and mind." Zeion sighed."I never lied to you and I'd never cheat. Your the only one I want to be with."
Zeion put the robe back on and sighed."I have learned about my life and how I nearly deid as a child." Zeion held up his right hand the chant was still there but what appered was a cresent moon."Also add on to the fact there were no women at the temple. And I was always trying to master this chant during the day, at night was very harsh training to master weapons and chants." He said as he looked at hand and sigh."If you want I can take you to them and prove it."He would if it ment her taking him back.

She watched as a tattoo seemed to form on his skin and began to glow, his eyes opened and they were much brighter. He said that he learned a lot about himself and that there was no women in the temple. He spent his days learning the chant, and the night was full of training.
Her crossed arms loosened.
She let the tears just fall freely, her shoulders began to shake, her arms hugged her sides tightly. She closed her eyes, shaking her head as she spoke. "It just can't be... I just... It's so hard to see this all Zeion..." she said his name for the first time in a long time. She stopped shaking her head, tilted her head up and looked at him. "Please... understand that I thought you were dead..."

"I know that besides they called on me way too much. Let them. All I care about is you Tiy. I promiced to defend the town but people called on me for dumb stuff. After the break-in I knew I could be better a real warrior would never let anyone get the drop on him." Zeion said and sat on the couch and began to speak again."I've learned to reach our with my spirit and feel the movments of others. I could've dodged your slap but as I said I deserved it." Zeion looked at the tattoo on his right hand and said a few words the tattoo began to go through the phases of the moon. He spoke more words and it stopped. He was a lunar warrior now.
"I still love you Tiy I swore to love you forever. If anything my time away increased my love for you." Zeion said as he stood up and explaned what happened the oddities and how they could talk to the moon through the chant he did before. He told her about how he was alive cause of the moon's spirit taking pity on Zeion's mom and giving Zeion new life but he could not be normal. "I will always love you no matter how much time passes."

All of this was just too much. And most of her did not want to hear it. But when he began to talk about how much he loved her and how his time away from her just increased his love for her. The tears kept falling and she took a long, silent moment to herself. She had to think things through.
So much had happened while he was gone, so many men had offered, she had turned them all down… so many new faces, new friends, new enemies. Her shoulders were still shaking and she knew that it was just her word that was keeping him from reaching out and pulling her close, kissing her, loving her, holding her, everything she had missed for too long now. She let out a shaking shigh.
“This is all hard to believe..."
Jez nudged the back of Tiy's knee. She looked at him, her eyes locked on his. "But I want to believe!" she said. And with that, she ran over to him and threw herself at him, wrapping her arms around his neck and hugging tightly, crying heavily onto his shoulder.

Zeion wrapped his arms around her and said."I am here now. I will never leave again." Zeion said as he held her hed with his left hand and the middle of her back with his right."I will be here and I will saty by your side till the end of time." Zeion said as he held her. He let her cry it out and then he said."Come on it'll be ok from here on in. If you want I can make dinner for the next three days. really fancy dinner like I used to make. Another buffet perhaps. I am sure my stach of gold is still in your closet."
Zeion said and he left it there for Tiy and Jez for emergencies. He knew they would like that after all he needed to do this for them. Besides he wanted Tiy to trust him again. He kissed Tiy's shoulder and said."I am sorry for leaving but you are the only one I love. I'll love you forever Tiy, my goddess." He said as he held her close showing he was real as can be.

She shook her head as he offered to make dinner. She did not want him to leave her, even if it was just across the room. She buried her face in his neck and as he said that he loved her and that she was the only one he would love, and he called her his goddess. She laid them down on the couch and lay close to him. “No. You’re not making dinner. I’m no longer hungry. I just want to lay with you…” she said quietly, but firmly, calming down, the tears were subsiding, and her muscles loosed. She was beginning to relax with him… she could feel him… see him… hear him… and she knew that he was real.

Zeion held Tiy in his arms he missed this so much. Holding her close he kissed her neck many times. He stopped only to say."I love you Tiy, my lover, my wife, my goddess."He said as herubbed her back with his hands. He missed saying that so much. She was everything to him it was still true even when he was gone he had her in his heart and mind to make sure he knew what he was training for. He always remembered her at her best, both dressed and undressed, he loved Tiy for who she was always have always will. KIssing her again he smiled inbetween kisses he could not stop kissing his lovely wife.

Being showered in so many kisses made her miss him more than he knew. She missed being adored... she missed having someone close each night. She sighed lightly and closed her eyes as he continued to kiss her. She giggled lightly and pulled up from him for a moment to look down at him. "I think someone missed me, just a little bit..." she teased him, sticking out her tongue between her smiling lips.
