"I've got that. Another one for me as well, please." Adelay interjected as the Barmaid came for Luna's empty cup, placing sundry coins onto her tray. Enough for the two drinks and a healthy tip. Afterwords, Adelay lifted his drink as well to the toast. "To a new dear friend." He responded with a smile before taking a swig from his mug. He could see what this Alex was trying to do, it didn't take trained Elven perception to do so. Though really, any bad messages he was trying to prevent have already been sent, received, signed for, opened, and sent the messenger away complaining of getting no tip. At least as far as Adelay was concerned. Alex was marking his territory, Luna wasn't so much in a relationship with him as she was his property. Regardless, he let these thoughts mill about as he listened to the two talk.
"Well, I wouldn't exactly say 'misleading' Luna, but I must admit I'm curious as to why you didn't mention having a lover." He stated plainly, but not making any accusations. After all, she was aware that Adelay was attempting to flirt with her at first. Adelay was a reasonable Elf and a simple mention of an existing lover would have been a deft deflection. So, why didn't she... Unless she was interested? "Not that any of that matters at the moment. By the way, I am Adelay Saenes. Nice to meet you... Alan, was it?" Adelay continued, shifting his attention from Luna to Bloodwing, extending a friendly hand across the table. Now, normally one shouldn't provoke an angry dog, but so long as it had its leash, one had free reign to rattle a stick across its cage. Just that most times, kids who do so aren't trying to get that leash to snap.

Bloodwing smiled at Luna's antics he hadn't seen her tipsy yet. this side seemed much more fun. He'd have to drown he in alcohol again some time. "Yes as a matter of fact it is long and hard." He said sure it would get more giggles out of her she was so cute right now he was barely worried about Adelay. Then he raised a toast. He might aswell join in. He raise his half full pint, "to new friends I guess." He said.
"So Adelay, I see you're an archer. Have any sort of aptitude for magic?" He said nodding at the bow. Bloodwing wasn't going to challenge the boy. More than likely he would recruit him. He needed followers. Ones that weren't exactly devoted to Avaren. It was clear this elf was no threat to him. The elf just didn't understand how small of a threat he presented.

She looked over at Adelay and tilted her head. "I didn't mean not to... and I didn't forget. I figured you were deciding to back off when you apologized for being so forward..." she looked at Alex out of the corner of her eye and giggled when he finished his comment. But when she toasted to new friends, she was surprised to hear Alex reply. She nodded to them and then fell silent as Alex posed a question about his bow and his magical ability, if any at all.
She stared at the beer in her pint and tilted it side to side. Aw, what the hell? She was all ready tipsy, might as well get drunks. She drained her pint, raised it, and waited for a new one. As soon as the barmaid gave her another one, she giggled and took another sip and then listened as the men chattered. She hid her face from Alex behind her mug and looked at Adelay. "You guys are friends now. I can tell he doesn't see you as a threat and he's not going hurt you." she paused and looked at Alex over the brim and then back to Adelay. "Or he better not."

"Mm-hmm..." Adelay let out as he retracted his hand, not surprised Alexander refused to shake it. Clearly whatever primordial sludge he slithered out from didn't teach him any manners. He took up his mug again and took a drink just to stifle laughter from Luna assuming Adelay would ever be this thing's friend. Really he wondered what Luna saw in him. Then came Alex's asking of his abilities. Was he being sized up, or being interviewed for something?
"Why yes. Yes I do, Alan. I doubt my family's reputation stretches this far, but the Saenes Clan is renown for our combination of Archery and the Arcane in the Southern lands." Adelay replied, reaching over his shoulder and drawing out an arrow, presenting it before the pair. Runic carvings adorned the shaft, topped by an ornate serrated arrowhead. Adelay shut his eyes for a moment, causing a spell to fill the arrow. The glyphs on the shaft glowed a beautiful blue color and the arrow itself seemed to hum like a choir. "Quite the elegant way to deliver a spell, if I do say so myself. So much more so than the traditional means of hurling spells as an ape would it's feces at least. I never get tired of the music it makes, or the sight of it soaring. This way I can deliver kinds of spells other Mages can only cast through contact from great distance." Adelay explained watching the arrow glow wistfully. Sure Alexander would probably just snuff and overtly act unimpressed, but this was Adelay's craft, his passion. So long as his arrow was singing, the only people in the world was him and his target.

Bloodwing was not what Adelay predicted him to be. Bloodwing just had a few high standard. and when it came to magic he knew what to look for. And he knew a good craft when he saw it. He held out a hand. "May I see the arrow." He asked. Assuming Adelay allowed him to hold the arrow Bloodwing held and examined the arrow like a jeweler appraising a precious gem. He looked carefully at the elven rune inscribed into the delicate wooden shaft. He nodded in approval and handed it back. "I can see the possible implications. I myself just had a weapon created with similar properties." He said Pulling the blade from its place at his side. He laid the weapon on the table.
The blade was looked any longsword. except that its blade had Draconic runes etched into both sides of the blade. "It too has some interesting properties." He said. allowing the elf to look. "What do you think?" He asked.

Luna oooed at the arrow as it began to glow. She was rather impressed by this Southern Elf's magic. She had never learned. She was much better with the sword than she was with magic. She nodded and reached out to touch the arrow, but Alex picked it up. She glared at him over the brim of her beer, but the tingling was just so funny, she giggled and set the beer down, running her index finger around the brim of the tin mug, frowning when it didn't ring like the crystal pints back home.

" Hm? Oh, of course." Adelay replied, allowing Alex to examine the arrow. While he inspected, the Elf bought a fresh cider for himself. Drinking it down, Adelay noticed Luna's grimace over being denied her own inspection of his arrow. After getting it back from Alex, he offered the glowing arrow to her fletching first. "Careful with this Luna." He instructed, avoiding any obvious jokes about his arrow unexpectedly discharging. With that, his attention turned back to Alex and the sword he placed upon the table. With an interested hum, Adelay pulled the goggles resting on his forehead down over his eyes as he would when he wanted to focus on something. "Fascinating. Runes seem to be more for enchantment than storing spells, which makes sense. I've seen weaponry like this before, but nothing of this magnitude. There is some serious magics in this sword." He stated drawing the goggles off of his eyes again and looking back up to the pair.

Bloodwing nodded. "Wish that i could clam that i crafted the sword, but i didn't I had it order. Had to tell the Blacksmith how seeing as this enchantment needed the runes to be crafted in the fire with the flame. Fire seems to be a very common element in dragon magic." He said though that part was obvious. "Actually I'm attempting to learn this magic more thoroughly, and teach it. This is just the first of many things to come." He said.

Luna took the glowing arrow when Adelay handed it to her and she smiled at it, holding it like glass. She looked at it and smiled at the inscriptions on the side. What a marvelous arrow... She set it back on the table and rested her chin on the top of the cup, her hands holding the bottom, watching them talk. She felt a little out of place, but what did she care? She was drinking.
Speaking of...
She pulled her chin from the brim took another sip and set her chin back down, waiting to hear from one of the men. But she knew that men could talk with her in their presence. She wasn't going to tell anything.
