[Bloodwing]

Dragons had many vices to their personalities. There was greed, nearly every dragon had his own stash of gold. many had enough toe rival the treasuries of entire kingdoms. There was pride. All dragons liked compliment, and if you stroked a dragons ego the right way favors could be gain. But another was sloth. Dragons like any intelligent creature got stressed and worked up, and on the same coin many liked to relax.

Today Bloodwing was relaxing at the lake. The dragon trapped in human for. Hadn't been overly stressed out in fact he was feeling quite good about things. Before leaving the city he had left a message at the tavern for Luna to coma an see him at the east end of the lake. So he sort of expected her to show but it really didn't matter to him.

It was actually pretty cold outside but despite that fact Bloodwing was sitting in the water. the ground beneath him had been dug out making the area deep like a huge bowl. as he sat there only thing above the water where his shoulders on up. One would thing the water was freezing. in actuality it had been freezing using his powers over heat and fire he had heated the water in the immediate area. The Water was steaming slightly as the cold air and the hot water. creating a light fog around the immediate area. On the shore was his black shirt and a red tunic along with his new sword. Bloodwing was, at the moment, a very content dragon.

[Shadow]

Shadow liked the lake.

It was a very interesting place; one could meditate by its shores, swim in the cool waters, feed off of the wildlife within; it was a veritable source of life. So naturally, being a druid, it was a humongous draw for the man.

Accompanied by Chao today, Shadow had settled down and started to meditate, staying seated beneath a tree by the shore of the river for quite some time. In his lap was a diamond- clear, beautiful, and larger than his fist. As he sat there, the Diamond would occasionally begin to float, spinning slowly and shining with a soft light.

After a while, Shadow was pulled from his meditations by a surge of magical power. It wasn't directed at him, but it was something that made the druid concerned. Getting up and carefully stowing the diamond in it's magically sealed pouch, Shadow stretched while looking toward the direction of the disturbance.

Chao phased into reality, perched on Shadow's shoulder, currently the size of a small fox. They were both silent as they moved toward the source of the magic. Normally, Shadow would have ignored it and continued on with his meditations; however, he smelled Dragon magic, and it made him curious.

As he approached the hole in the ground which was now filled with bubbling, steaming water, Shadow understood. Ah, how clever... a heated bath.

Shadow's cloak gave him a half specter, half solid appearance. He smiled inwardly. ok... now where's the dragon? Ah... there he is..

Walking toward the edge of the pond, he palmed a throwing knife, just in case. His eyes were the usual Blood Red, and his black hair was drawn back in a ponytail.

Moving through the grasses unobtrusively, Shadow walked up to the very edge of the heated pool, and addressed the "person" relaxing within it.

"Lovely out here, isn't it?"

In the meantime, Chao, the Dragon Dog jumped off of Shadow's shoulder and sniffed in the direction of the other being. His bright red-orange crest was redder than usual, but only because he didn't trust the stranger.

With a hop in her steps, Luna made her way down to the tavern for some breakfast. The familiar barmaid told her that Alex was at the east shore of the lake, and that she could join him if she so choose. She smiled lightly and nodded to her, thanking her and asking for her usual breakfast as she sat down at the bar to enjoy it before heading out...

After breakfast, and packing up for whatever... weather it was swimming, resting on the shore, or walking, she was ready to go. She had a small messenger bag at her hip and was dressed in her white collared shirt, black vest, black pants and boots, with a swimming gown underneath. She smiled lightly and headed out of the tavern door, pushing it open with ease.

A bit later, Luna was at the lake and she looked around for Alex... She could see steam coming from the east shore and she headed that way, arriving at the south end. As she neared, she could see that Alex was not alone and there was another man with red eyes and black hair standing next to him. She set down her bag and smiled at Alex, wary of the stranger, since she did not know what was going on. And stood behind her shirtless lover in the hot spring. She smiled brightly, "Oooh... that looks nice hun..." she commented.

She looked up at the stranger and smiled. "Hello! Care to join us?" She offered, sitting down and taking off her boots.

Bloodwing sat there enjoying the silence and peacefulness of nature. Quite the contrast to his desire for chaos. But then what was chaos if not unpredictably peaceful at times. The only thing that was missing with this hot spring was the smell of sulfur. Natural spring where usually cause by volcanic vents. and the brimstone was a rather dominant stone in such springs but then this bath hadn't been naturally formed.

As he relaxed hie had closed his eyes and apparently dozed off for. he was suddenly waking up to the sound of a human voice. You know the saying about sleeping dragons? Obviously human didn't. "Lovely? Indeed." He said simply turning his head to look up at the dark haired man, Just then another figure came through the fog, it was Luna, "Well hello there dear. You're a little late." He said. then looked back at Shadow. "So, to whom do I speak?" He asked.

[Shadow]

Shadow knew very well the saying about dragons; but before him was not a dragon, but a human... It intrigued him, and he was about to inquire about it when another being entered the picture. Ah, so I am intruding...

Either way, Shadow nodded to the dragon aura'd humanoid, and said "You may call me the Nightwalker. Accompanied by my companion, Chao." As Shadow said the dragon-dog's name, the small creature bowed its head, looking from the girl to the man in the water. Shadow, motioned, and Chao grew to his normal size, as tall as a war horse. His bright orange shoulder blades came up to Shadow's head.

"And who two might you be?" Shadow sat down at the edge of the pool, but didn't enter the bubbling waters. Instead, he sat on the edge, in a cross legged position. Chao laid down behind him, still examining the Dragon in human form.

Shadow was very well aware that he was intruding, but his curiosity got the better of him. He'd be brief, and would excuse himself after the pleasantries were exchanged. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed the ornate sword that was on the ground, next to a pile of clothing. He felt a similar aura emanating from the sword, and deduced that it belonged to the red head in the water.

The man with the dark hair and the bright eyes sat on the edge of the lake, after she watched his pet change into a dragon dog. She smiled and waved at Chao... as she now knew Nightwalker's name as well as his pet. Setting her boots aside, she began to unbutton her vest and shirt, revealing a light blue swimming gown underneath. Setting them aside she slipped out of her pants quick and got in the water. "I am Luna Grimm and this is Alexander. It's nice to meet you." she smiled and stepped up in the pool, holding out a hand for Nightwalker to shake.

Oooh, the waters felt nice, now as soon as she stood up, her shoulders sort of slumped against the cold against her hot skin. Her swimming gown was a tank-top looking top with shorts underneath and a skirt covering to her mid thighs. She knew that it was a little low-cut, but she wasn't expecting anyone other than Alexander. But it was all right by her. The more the merrier.

Bloodwing huffed at the mans name, Nightwalker, sounded like a poorly translated elven name. "So, Nightwalker, may I as where you got such an elegant specimen of Canus Draconus to follow you. From what I've heard they aren't exactly easy to tame let alone befriend."

As he waited for his answer he turned his eyes to Luna. Who was indeed showing off what she had. and he started to feel as if he needed to do something a bout shadow if the man didn't leave soon.

[Shadow]

Shadow politely fixated his eyes upon the ornate sword as the female elf disrobed into her swimming attire; he did have more than a shred of chivalry- even if he did make a living off of thievery. Upon her entry to the water, Shadow returned his steady gaze to the pair. Nodding his head in an informal seated bow, he acknowledged the Female An elf, eh? and then the dragon man- Heh, took him long enough- I guess the sayings are right... but made no move toward her extended hand, as he didn't notice the gesture.

Shadow smirked at Alex's question, Shaking his head. "Ah, and that is a mystery in itself, is it not? You would be absolutely correct about the difficult to find part: In fact, his prison was the only reason that he was still alive." Shadow looked at Chao, who closed his eyes and nodded.

Shadow... how long are we playing this game?[/color]
We'll be leaving now, my brother. Do not worry.

Shadow looked off toward Avaren City, sighing. A small gleam shone out very briefly from one of the towers, and the Nightwalker glanced behind him, to see the dragon dog already standing up, stretching himself out.

Shadow stood himself, and formally bowed to the two in the hot bath; "Enjoy yourselves! I have... Business to take care of. I'm sure I'll see you again, so don't worry."

Shadow smirked, walking off toward the city. His comment had been directed at the dragon-man, but he had been vague enough in its delivery that it could have been directed at either Alex or Luna.

Within a few minutes, he was out of sight. However, it wasn't because he was obscured by bushes or anything- Shadow and Chao had both simply... Disappeared.

((Shadow and Chao Exit!))

Luna stared after Nightwalker as he disappeared before their very eyes. She tapped her chin thoughtfully... 'What an interesting fellow...' she thought to herself. She let her hand slip back under the water and she looked over at Alex, to see how he had reacted. She smiled lightly and then asked quietly... "Do you think he knows what you are, my love?"

Yes the man had intruded a bit, but Bloodwing was sure it was to make at least his presence known. Bloodwing would indeed see this individual again. How soon and what side he would be on was still up in the air. As he thought about it he heard Luna's question. "Yes, I do." He Said simply. "If not that Dragon dog knows. All dragonkin have a sixth sense about such things. and if that drake is at all loyal to that man then the message was sent." He said without looking at her his eyes still fixed on the spot where he had vanished.

He then turned to look at her. "The real question is, 'How much of a threat is he?'" He said. "But enough about politics, what do you think of my little pool, and how have you been? How's that elf friend of yours? Anyone stab him in the back yet?" he asked sounding hopeful.

She followed Bloodwing's eyes and saw that he was still staring at the point in which the man and his dragon dog disappeared. She looked back at him, nodding, understanding what he said about the dragonkin and then sat back in the pool, playing with the surface of the water. He looked at her and asked her what she thought of his pool, how she was, how Adelay was and if anyone had stabbed him in the back yet. She smiled lightly and looked over at him, swinging her legs over his lap and an arm around his shoulders.

"I am all right. I will admit there have been a lot of sleepless nights while you are reading and studying... But my heart tells me that you need to study this for whatever reasons you have. And Adelay is fine. But yes... as a matter of fact, he was injured in a recent adventure, as I'm sure you are pleased to hear." she stuck her tongue out at him playfully and then kissed his cheek.

"But enough about him. How are you, my love?"

He smiled at her as she got in his lap. He looked into her eyes as she spoke. "YOu know if you ever need me, you can come looking for me at the academy." He said concerned about the restless nights. "But if you really must know I'm in the search for students, and a reason to start up a guild. I realize that as powerful as I am taking on Avaren will require some aide.

[Luna Grimm]

She nodded at his words. "Of course I do. But I would rather you..." she thought about her words carefully "... read your books and learn your magic." she said. She wasn't sure if that's how she really felt, but she felt like that is what she needed to say to him. Her heart ached for him as a companion and a friend and more than just lovers, but certain things came before her, she had to understand that. But didn't Adelay say that she should just talk to him about things? It was all so confusing.

Students and a guild huh? She was interested to hear more about this, but her heart tugged at her to talk about them. She paused and sighed heavily, looking down at the water for a moment before returning her eyes to his. "What of us?" she asked quietly. She wanted to know exactly what she was to him, what she was able to feel about him, and if there was more to this relationship than just sex and booze... which in her mind would be a horrible relationship to be in for forever. Because forever was a very long time.

Bloowing raised a human brow in doubt at her words about her wanting him to just keep reading. And then she ask a simple but apparently deep question. The truth was at the moment she was moral support. Making him feel good and not much more.But she was more than that and Bloodwing always kept that in mind.

"What of us?" He asked himself. "We will rule. Quite simply. For now our relation ship doesn't seem to be much, with vice after vice all in the name of pleasure of the flesh. But We're a bit more than that. You are also a skilled thief and a trained warrior. Both are skills I lack. I and skilled in magic and I'm a dragon you have my protection, and to a degree, my obedience." That last part he talked about was rather limited. "Is there more that you want?" He asked. running her smooth thigh with his hand

Luna wanted to close her eyes and let the tingling of his hot hands against her thigh make her feel as good as they did as often as he was home. She wanted to just give in and let this be all that they were. But she was tired of living for the moment. She was going to live FOREVER and she needed to plan like she was going to. He told her what they were… what he thought… what they could do for each other… but nothing indicated that he wanted to fall in love… to be wed properly as she did in her culture… have kids even. She knew that she wasn’t quite ready for kids, but everything else sounded so wonderful. That was one thing she was jealous of about the humans. They could find a life-long mate within the first twenty to twenty five years of their life, be wed, have kids, and die in each other’s arms.

She let out a sigh and looked at him as he asked if there was something more that she wanted; as if what they had wasn’t enough. And in a sense… it wasn’t. She blinked a couple times and thought about what she wanted to say and then she reached up and tucked his hair behind his ears so she could see his face better, read his response better. She bit her bottom lip lightly and then finally asked.

“What about falling in love?”
