Adelay listened and watched intently as Luna described her home and people with such pride and love. It was almost heartbreaking to see how sullen and quiet with homesickness by the end. He knew the feeling. Having a memento of home helped spiritually, but nothing can compare with the feeling of being home. Being in a place where you were unequivocally welcomed amongst people you love. It's enough to make the heart burst. These thoughts caught onto Adelay also as his eyes sailed to the ground.
"Homesickness is an illness not easily cured, is it? I know how you feel, my homeland is half a world away and its felt like decades since I've so much as seen another Elf. Before I met you, I hadn't realized just how lonely I had been. You know what, though? We Elves live for a very long time and I'm sure I can find the time to make the journey back home someday, that's what keeps me going on. And hey we may be two lonely Elves, but if we stick together, we're lonely together." The Spellshot stated, looking back over to Luna consolingly placing a hand on her shoulder.

Luna was beginning to realize that she would have rather been at home, being punished by the people of the council at home... been locked up for a few years... at home. At least she would be at home. She kept saying that and she knew that she was just home-sick. She needed to be with her parents, with her people, with her friends... all those that she had left behind. But a new life was calling to her and she sighed lightly, nodding as he said that home-sickness was not easily cured. That was sure as hell true. She smiled at his wise words saying that they lived for forever so he would have the time to make the journey back home and she nodded.
She smiled at his comment that they could be lonely together as Elves half a world away from home and he set his hand on her shoulder. She looked at it and then up at him and smiled brightly. "But two people together are no longer lonely. Perhaps our friendship will be the cure for our loneliness. Especially since we have so similar backgrounds... and are of the same race, just different cultures, young elf." she teased him lightly and rested her hand on his, patting it lightly. "I like the sound of that... we can help cure our home-sickness...."
"We could talk in our language to each other and go hunting just like at home!" she was getting excited and her hand dropped from his and she perked up on the bench, her eyes flashing brightly. "What do you say, Adelay?"

"I think that is a great idea, Luna!" Adelay replied, getting excited at the prospects as well. "Though, what of your lover? He seems the jealous and violent type. I'd hate to see what would happen between you two should he get the wrong idea of you spending time with another man... Again." He queried. Adelay personally wasn't afraid of this Alex, but the possibility of becoming the "other man" was a legitimate concern to have. The Southern Elf always had a weakspot for beautiful women and was oft subject to the pursuit of thus, but he was never one to attempt driving a wedge into an existing relationship.
