The air was nippy and the chill from the small breeze was even worse, but she had a heavy woolen cloak to help keep the chill at bay as she walked into Avaren.
Kinnara looked around as she made it through the gates, at the people everywhere. A slight smile pressed at the corners of her lips as she thought of perhaps calling this new place home. Her dark onyx gaze swept over buildings and faces, never dallying on one in particular but instead taking it all in, in a glance. There would be time to study this place and the people more closely in the near future, but for now, she was just content in feeling the flow of the place.
Her Katana set at her side hanging from the leather belt strapped around her small waist, at her hip. Her left hand rested on the hilt, beneath her cloak. Her right hand slid the deep hood from her head and revealed the mass of long raven locks beneath and then moved down at her side as she took a few more steps inside the city, her onyx orbs continuing to seek out the traffic of the place.
She would have to find an Inn for a few nights at the least, until of course she found work enough to support her own home. Her eyes moved along still over the buildings but she did not see one.
“Oh, there’s got to be one around here someplace.” She sighed and then began walking further into the city, her leather boots making almost no sound at all as she walked, though with all the noise of the crowd, they could have made a racket and no one would have taken notice.

Malachy was kinda bored. He had been studying almost all day and his stomach decided it was time to get some food. He was tired of conjured bread and water it was always so bland. So he decided he should risk going into the town and trying the Dragon Tooth Tavern, the closest inn to the Academy for magic. He wandered outside in his dark in his long sleeved tunic trousers and black cloak that kept him warm on the chilly day.
As he walked passed the entrance to the city Malachy noticed a woman looking around as if she was lost. Feeling he should help her he approached. "Excuse me but you seem lost, would you like some help finding something?" He asked her politely.

Kannara turned around laying her onyx gaze on the speaker and tilted her head lightly to the side before giving him a thankful smile. She wasn’t used to people helping others, this was something entirely new to her. She had expected to find the inn the old fashion way, sheer luck.
“Well, yes. As a matter of fact you can, I hope.” She answered his question. The thankfulness quite evident in her voice. It had been a particularly long walk this day,.her horse had thrown a shoe about 25 miles back very early this morning and she was forced to pay some delivery company to deliver her bags to the nearest city, which happened to be here. The trip wasn’t all that bad, as she took it most of the way in her wolf form, only recenly changed back as signs and smells of populated areas came along.
“I was told there was an inn here, some place with a stable.” She started and then laughed slightly. “Sorry, just tired.” She continued. “Could you perhaps point me in the right direction and maybe...” She ran her teeth over her bottom lip and looked at the man before her with a raised brow. “A decent place to grab a bite to eat?”

He nodded. "Yes actually , was on my way to the Dragon tooth Tavern, they have an in and the city's stables are withing view of the tavern so you won't be far from your horse. And as for food their roast chicken's pretty good" He said hoping it would help. "You may fallow me if you like. It's always nice have company in places like that."
He had never stayed at that particular inn but he was sure it was fine, and he wasn't lying about the chicken.

Kinnara offered his a thankful smile as she listened carefully to what he told her. She had been told by the delivery company that the Inn was there and that would be where they’d send her horse and bags. So really, it was imperative that she found it by nightfall, as they shouldn’t have been much more than a few hours behind her.
“Great and thank you.” She replied with that same smile. “I think I would like a bit of company for a change.” She continued and then looked at the guy and smiled wider. “Names Kinnara, by the way, and please...” She inclined her head. :lead the way.

Their walk was indeed a short one and they didn’t’ say much but then ther ewas pleanty of time to talk during the meal she supposed. Kinnara had been correct in the assumption that she’d have found it soon or later any way, but was still quite grateful for the kindness of the other.
When they approached the tavern/inn she took note of the painting in the front and thought it almost too cute for a Tavern, but then again, she knew nothing of this place so wouldn’t comment on it.
“Why thank you.” She replied and then walked through the door past Malachy, immediately feeling the warmth of the place and smiled. There didn’t seem to be anything special about the place, but it was nice enough for what it was and she was sure they’d have a comfortable bed to lay on when she felt so inclined, later.
Once inside, she turned to Makachy and smiled.
“Ok, I’ll just go secure a room, If you wouldn’t mind grabbing us a table?” She stated and asked all at once.

Malachy smiled and nodded. before turning and finding an empty table off to the side. As he waited for his new companion he ordered a drink He was unsure of what she might want so didn't order for he but he was sure that by the time she got to the table the waitress would be back.
