Tiy's mind was a peace and she was settled on a blanket out along the edge of the woods. Her horse was grazing not too far from her and her large wolf slept next to her in the sun. Tiy smiled and reached over to scratch her belly. She really did love that Jez was still alive. It meant a lot to have at least one friend that had not been executed. She sighed lightly and leaned against the tree that they were under and closed her eyes taking a deep breath.
She was about to take a nap when Jez jumped up and let out a low growl. Tiy looked at her and then she remembered what she had told Alexander in the Market Place just days ago. She suspected that he had whistled, because Jez was jumping around her barking at her. She got up, wrapped up the blanket and whistled for her horse. He came running up and she jumped onto his back. "Lead the way Jez!" She turned the horse around and Jez began to run towards the ruins. Tiy let out a low sigh and then kick her horse's sides and they were off in a gallop.
The entire time, she was hoping that Alexander was all right. She knew that only in desperate times did a mage call for another mage, so he must have pissed off the undead. She sighed lightly and held onto the reins tighter as she could see the ruins just over the horizon.
-a few minutes later-
Tiy reached the edge of the Old Kingdom and looked around. The dead were uneasy and groaning as they walked around. She tied her horse, far enough that she would be able to reach it, but the dead would not go that far, and closed her eyes, taking a deep breath and listening. He had mentioned something about a book, so the place to run would be the library. But she would have to fend off hoards of dead... or would she? She looked down and saw some old armor and a sword and she slipped into it, tearing her dress and smearing mud on it. She put a disguising spell on herself and began a slow walk to the library.
She looked, smelt, and acted like the undead and was able to make it to the library no problem. She ventured down the hall and around the corner to the spiraling stone stairs. Slowly, but surly she could hear a battle going on. She made it to the bottom of the stairs and blended in with the crowd of undead, wary of the leader. She made her way towards Alexander as if attacking him and then stood in front of him, holding her sword out. She knew that she looked too much like the undead for him to recognize her, so she let out a low whistle, much like the one he had just given to let him know who she was. "Be still." She could see that he had the book, and all they needed was an escape. She looked around and saw a crack in the wall that had light pouring in.
"Quick! Out this way!" She threw her hands together and shot a large stone at the crack and a avelange of rocks came from the ceiling, creating dust that would help them sneak out. She could hear the undead outside, but braced her sword tightly. She held out a hand and felt for Alexander... she felt his arm and slid down to his hand. She muttered another spell that increased the dust and she pulled him up the hole. "Come on! We Don't have far to go!"
