He grinned, "Well, Luna, if I danced around the point I'd end up not getting to it and a point like that's wort getting to and I'm sure what I have to offer is no less grand that what you have." He heard snickering behind him He turned and gave the a look and they stopped. They where suddenly the center of attention which he really didn't like that Privacy was now impossible.

Well he might as well advertise some of his intentions that needed advertising. He would prepose a thing or two to her during this game but for now... "I know I asked when we first met but what are you in Avaren for? Is it for money, pleasure or safety?" He asked more with his eyes than his words. His eyes, seductuve as they where, said he could care less if her intentions. The asked her to confide in him. and he was sure she could communicate her message without ruining any secrest, if there where any.

The point was worth getting to? Was she really... oh, yes she was. She forgot just how much more radiant elves looked to humans when not in their all ready radiant surroundings. She was a diamond among the coal and a lot of people, she now noticed, were watching her. It didn't make her uncomfortable, but she would much rather be able to have some privacy. She sipped at her beer as the bar maid set down 'the strongest drink they had'. She thanked her with a nod and then heard the man talking about why she was here again.

She smiled at his suggestions. She leaned forward, setting her beer down and locking her eyes on his. "All of they above," she whispered. "Honestly... more the first two than the later one." She was being honest. Sure, safety from the disappointed stares of her parents, from the ones that wished her to be banned, but it all settled on the disappointment. It was her one regret. But she couldn't change who she was, nor what she did.

Well... In some cases.

She looked at him, still curious about him. And lowering her voice so that only he could hear her, she asked: "What about you? You're not here for safety... you have a darker intent." she grinned. "I like that."

He grinned his eyes where like an open window to the evil dragon within. His eyes where no longer acting he was showing very dark intent and a ravaging hunger. "Dark, yes. Humans are fool as deserve nothing they have." He said leaning forward as he whispered. She knew she could hear him. "I hope its not rude, but how old is the being i speak with and how many languages does she know?"

The very attractive young man leaned towards her and said that yes, his intentions were dark , and that humans were fools. Oh, he was earning points by the minute. She grinned lightly and then he asked her age and how many languages she knew. Very ball-sie of him to ask a woman her age. She sighed and thought there was no harm in tell him if things were just going to get steamy later.

Still at a whisper, she replied. "I have been around since before the fall of the Old Kingdom. I can speak my language, the language of the humans, the undead, the dark elves, and have been working on the language of the dragons. But it is damn near impossible to find one." she grinned. What a weird way to foreplay. Talk about her age and language capabilities. But she was the one that instigated that he had to work for some ... 'comfort'.

He had what he needed for information. "Well the trouble with Draconic, that most don't seem to understand, is that most have is that to speak it you need to have the ability to breath fire. Fire is as important as teeth and tongue really." He whispered with that look in his eyes still there. It was a seductive look. VERY few human knew anything about the language of dragons, someone as wise as an elf would know that. The humans would kjust think he was a smart wizard, to an elf he was either a genius or not human.

Got him.

She knew that there was something different about him, and he had just given it away. He was what she had been looking for for some time now.

"Well damn." she sat back. "That will be bloody difficult for me. But I thank you for your information." She grinned. She looked down at the drink on the table. She drained her beer and then took the other drink in her hand. She raised it up, looking at it through the glass and then shrugged. "Live like it's the last." And she chugged it down. Oooh, it tingled. She smiled over at him and then laughed lightly. "That was good, whatever it was." she looked down at her hands. No tingle yet. But she expected it soon... maybe a few more pints.

"Now if you'll excuse me... I need to run to the ladies' room." she grinned and stood up. She turned around and walked around tables and chairs and came to the indoor restroom. It was brand new for people around here, but her people had been using it for years. It was just too damn cold to be going outside during the winter to NOT get the idea to put it inside. She slipped in, shut the door and went to the water basin, pumping fresh water into the sink. "Grr... what are you doing girl?" she asked herself silently. She washed her face, used the rest room, and then just waited a few moments to gather her thoughts.

Oh how he hated good bye, and ho wh loved to watch he walk away Heads turned as she walked past and once she was gone a man behind him spoke "Oi, how in the name of the old kingdom are you do'n it mate?" another butt in and said "She's a bloody elf she's just dragging ye along you know that right its how there kind work when it comes to us humans." He smiled at their awe. "Maybe you have to be more than a man to get a girl like that?" He said innocently as if he wasn't aware of his achievement. They continued to ask him question some even tryied to bet him he would loose to which he refused he knew the elf could here them so he was careful not to ruin it.

She was about to leave when she heard men talking to him. She cracked the door and just waited, a small smile on her lips. She could hear that they thought he couldn't do it, wondered how he was doing it, and that she was just dragging him along. She laughed lightly and then walked out into the pub, strait through all the tables, with a very direct walk towards him.

Hey. Many lovers had come and gone... what would be one more?

"Or maybe it's because I'm actually wildly attracted to him." she told them, slipping around behind him and nipping at his neck lightly, moving his red and black hair out of the way. "How about we get lost and leave these losers behind? They're being too nosy..." she told him lightly as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders, hiding her face against his neck.

He smiled at his little victory everyone going slack jawed. "I'd love nothing more." He said turning his head and kissing her smooth, near flawless cheek. He stood up moving his chair to the side. he turned so his arm could slide under her and his hand could rest on her lower back, and then dare to move lower on the devious little elf.

As the walked up payed for a room and made their way upstairs to the inn his hand could feel that grace that so many men couldn't take their eyes off of and he knew that this was going to be a very good time.

-The Morning After-

Wrapped in the sheet, Luna sat at the window, staring out at the street. Alex was still in bed and she rested her head on her hand to look at him with a smile. She did not want to wake him. But she had found that even after how quickly they went, she found herself falling for him. It was strange of her, but something about how they connected really meant something to her. She stood and walked back over to the bed where she laid down next to him, propping her head up on her hand, and she reached over and gracefully pulled strands of hair off of his face. She smiled lightly and waited for him to awaken.

It was a little bit funny, the feeling she had inside. She normally would have just left him be with fond memories in mind, but she was drawn to him, and she did not want to leave his side... She leaned forwards and kissed his forehead lightly.

For now pleasant dream of victorious conquest assailed the sleeping dragon. He stood on high above the humans, all powerful and worshiped as a god. The river flowed with the blood of his enemies. Then as a warm body got closer to him on the bed and the scent of the person filled his nose a woman appeared beside him and elf woman with not but adoration for her king. A king of dragons and man. He felt the kiss on his head the elf in his dream doing the same, though in te dream it was more his nose as he was in his draconic body, and his eyes opened. And there she was, the elf of his dreams and admittedly the first in centuries to lay with him. And the last time... was it consensual, he really couldn't remember.

"You know it's hardly wise to wake a sleeping dragon." He said yes he had exposed that little secret the previous night. He wrapped his arms around her body wrapped as it already was in the sheets, and rolled oan his back so he could feel her weight. Her form was so elegant and lithe he loved it. and her personality seemed to work with his, but that was only another plus he still only saw her as a prize another trophy of his eventual conquest.

"Luckily thought the sleeping dragon is pleased with what he sees, and hopes to see what he sees again, that is if the dragon isn't slain by some unholy corpse." He propped himself up and his Elbows and planted a kiss on the elf's lips mostly because he felt so on top of the world right now that he must be entitle to it.

The way his eye-lids were moving, she knew that he was dreaming. And a light smile on his lips confessed that he was enjoying it. She smiled lightly as she kissed him and was told it was dangerous to wake a sleeping dragon. She swallowed back her shock, hiding it, as it was easy for elves to do. Sure... he had hinted at it the night before... but for real? She gave a small smirk as he rolled her up on top of him, his strong arms wrapped around her tiny torso. "Oh really? I see no danger in it. As I do recall... you were the one begging for more." she grinned and tapped the tip of his nose lightly with her finger.

He then told her that he was pleased with what he saw and wished to see it again if he were not slain by some corpse lord. She giggled gingerly as he kissed her gently an she placed her hands on either side of his face, holding the kiss.

But when she parted, she smiled at him and pulled up so she could see him. "Well then.... Let us hope that you don't get slain by some corpse lord and can return to my arms once again..." she pushed him back down on the pillows and rested her head on his shoulder, above his heart. She closed her eyes and listened. "What a strong heart... However old you must be, you will live much longer."

Oh so she didn't refuse him. She wanted him to come back, as devious as she was he wondered if it was a part of the act, but it was times like this that you just went with it let yourself believe the lie because the lie was more pleasant that the possible and almost always less enjoyable truth.

"And last I checked it wasn't begging, you just got tired and I wanted more, and still do." He said with that grin of his. He wonder is rolling with an elf had any sort of luck with it in some ways he was sure it did. And then he realized she was still here and in fact she seemed to be enjoying his company much as she had been in his dream.

Last night she was definitely putting on an act the act your everyday escort played to make a client feel wanted. Even if the client was on to the act it worked because of the earlier mentioned fantasy being 'better than the truth' thing. But now she was snugging up to him like a kitten. So either she was really committed or she had formed some attachment to him. Now wouldn't that be fun. "I hope your right, I guess that means I can count on you to be rooting for my valiant return. You know if your so sure I'll be back you should bet those fools downstairs and get yourself another payday." he suggested.

Smiling at his comment about how she got tired first was very true. She did indeed get tired and she knew that he wanted more, but there was only so much an elf, however much practice, could do. She giggled lightly. Oh, she felt so young again. What was the point in leaving now? He made her feel great, and still was, despite nothing touching but their heads.

And as he said that she was so sure that he would return that she could bet the men downstairs, she grinned and winked. "You read my mind. And... You will return. I can feel it..." she commented, with a smile. She ran her finger along his collar bone, and then looked up at him. "What exactly do you have in mind?"

"Well, I knew Aesir as it was before it literally fell so I know the general lay of the city quite well." He sai combing his fingers into her soft, tangled hair. In fact I know where the book should be. There's a library that we dragons guarded. we had a good number of books that we wrote there. Those books where mistakes in my opinion. The humans misused our knowledge and look where we are now." He said pointing out his form and the fate of the old kingdom.

"Still I'm sure its in the lower vault of the library, and that's where I'll be headed. As for the undead. I command the powers of Earth and Fire, forces I'm sure will be enough to cut down a few soulless husks." He wondered if he should tell her about the woman that said she would help. It really wasn't necessary. The other woman was human and in the grand scheme of things really didn't matter.

He gave a heavy sigh. "As much as I'd love to lie here with you and be reminded exactly why I don't want to go. I do need to go before it gets to late. It'll be difficult enough to deal with the dead in the day time let alone at night in a city that no longer shines." He said. loving the attention he was getting.
