The day was far too peaceful today, the air was cool and, and people seemed a bit too happy, and to top it off the Sky was completely clear and a beautiful blue. Everything about the day made Alexander sick. When he felt the cool air he wanted it to be warmer. A strong dry heat was a wonderful thing, and every person that smiled at him and nodded he wanted nothing more than to cave in their skull. And the sky, well he envied the birds at the moment. It was a perfect day for flying, but he was all too reminded that his wings where locked away by magic.
As he strode the streets of Avaren, Alex made his way to the great magic academy of Avaren. a Place that resembled the once proud Aesir more than it resembled the city around it. It was here that he would build an army and get his revenge but he needed to be subtle about it. So when people Greeted him he did the same in kind. He needed to seem like a good and that how he would act. If Bloodwing was anything it was patient.

Tiy had ventured back to the Academy to see if the headmaster would join her for tea to catch up. It had been a couple years since she left, and she wanted to see her old friends. Settled on a bench in the courtyard, she was in her favorite white tunic, lined with gold fringe. It was a swooping cut that hung lightly on her shoulders and fell to her knees. She wore some light colored sandals that wrapped up her calves to her knees. She gracefully crossed one leg over the other and looked around.
She had sent a messenger into the Headmaster. They had presented themselves and offered to tell him she was here. She had been grateful and would now wait to hear from him in the courtyard, watching the students with a testing eye. There were many new students, all trying their hardest to study. And many of them were failing. She saw one group, trying their hardest with levetation spells. She smiled and stood, walking over to them. A couple of them noticed her and she smiled brightly. "May I help you? I am a graduate mage from here." They nodded lightly and she raised her hand over the stone they were trying to throw. She closed her eyes and said the spells in her mind, and the stone began to float. Amazed, the students watched in awe. She opened her eyes as she made the rock drift around them, nudging them in the cheek or rubbing against the shoulder.
"You see... with enough practice, you can control any object. You can use it for good..." she set it down on some papers that a student was trying to catch that she had dropped and she grabbed them, thanking her with a wave. "Or the bad." She threw her wrists together and pulled the rock back, and then shot it at great speed at a rock wall. There was a loud crackle and rocks fell to the ground. She blushed lightly at the attention she was drawing to herself, but began to talk as the stone, in halves now, came back to land in her hand. "You just have to concentrate and decide what it's best used for when the time calls for you to make that choice." She smiled and played with the two stone halves in her hands.
Bloodwing made his way into the courtyard of the academy, and as he entered he over heard the councilor teaching some student. Without really meaning to he stopped where he was and waited until she was finished, and he added. "... When that time come you may just have to choose the difference between right and wrong vanishes when your own life is at stake." He said "Let us hope that none of you have to choose like that anytime soon.

Tiy smiled as a stranger came up to them and she looked at him as he added what he thought about situations like that. She quite agreed. She smiled at him and gave the rock back to the students. She probably shouldn't be teaching them since she wasn't a teacher at the academy, but she loved the idea that they were learning what she loved and strived to perfect every day. She turned to the stranger. "Indeed. Very wise. I'm Tiy Memnon." She held out a hand to him and wondered if the man would give her his name and if something would happen.
He inclined his head and shook her hand politely. "And my name Alexander Skye. and I was unfortunate enough to have made a decision like that. There are those out there that just don't understand. Are you a teacher here or are merely playing tutor?" He asked with a kind smile.

She nodded, listening to what he had to say about how he had to make that choice and how people didn't understand why he did what he did. She understood perfectly. She was just as ridiculed for knowing magic every day that it was probably as much as he had been for that one choice.... But then again... All Mages had to make their choice at one point in their life. It was unfortunate that those people didn't understand why he did what he chose to do. She smiled lightly at him as he said, with a kind smile, if she were a teacher her, or just playing tutor. Laughing lightly, she shook her head.
"It's nice to meet you Alexander. And I guess you can say that I am merely playing tutor. I was waiting to see the headmaster, and the messenger has not come back, but I saw they were struggling and I always appreciated the help in school, so I helped. I am a graduate from here."
"Well I'm not quite sure where Izlin is at the moment but i would probably be able to help if that is what you are looking for." He said "I recently began work as a Teacher here. And I'm sure your skills with magic are quite great if you graduated here. Sorry for asking but when where you forced to make that decision. I'm hoping to maybe bring awareness of all these little atrocity to the council though I'm not really sure what they can do about a person's opinions especially when the church, or whats left of it, seems to enforce our demise. Just because we don't need flint, steel, and tinder to start a fire."

Intrigued by this man before her, she listened to him and heard that he was a teacher here and that he could help find Izlin if that's what she wanted. She nodded her thanks. And then he complimented her about her skills being great if she had graduated from here. She nodded and smiled at him. "Thank you. I really hope they are." And then he brought up the council and she raised a brow at this. It was interesting to hear what he had to say. She thought for a moment, bringing a finger to rest against her lips as she thought. "Well... If you would like... I may be able to get you a hearing with the Ruling Council if that is what you wish? I am one the the Council and I think they could hear a fresh idea about this other than my own."
"That would be great though. There would have to be people willing to come forward with their stories. The word of a two mages isn't going to sway the council and the reminiscence of the church is still an active opposing force that holds the hearts of the people of the city, plus the history of magic within the walls of this city really has a bad reputation. Lets not forget the war that fell Aesir." He explained he knew his politics maybe he should be on the ruling council. That really did have a nice ring to it.
"No, for now its best to lay low show the good side of magic, gain a good reputation with the people themselves. You know I'm really looking into the lore of dragons. They where actually quiet benevolent. Unfortunately the only books they wrote are still in the libraries of Aesir." He said he was getting an idea.

"I know... We would have to bring more people... but I suppose you're right: Showing the people of this new Kingdom that Magic can be used for good, may turn a lot of opinions about us around." She smiled at him. Each idea he had made her like him more. He was a smart man and it was no wonder that Izlin hired him as a professor here at the school.
He spoke about the magic of the dragons and she had remembered reading a book that described the books that were in the original library. She sighed lightly and nodded. "That would be amazing to bring magic from the old days to a new light...."
"Indeed and that is exactly what I hope to do. There is one book in particular that I'm aiming to retrieve from the ruins. I pray I'm successful. Just the other day I was talking to Izlin about going their myself, I hear undead own the city now. and I think it would be easier for a lone mage to take on a task than a bunch of mages with different priorities." He said explaining his idea.

Interesting indeed.
He really wanted this book. And he said that it would be easier for him to go alone than to go with a group of mages with different intents. And a part of her disagreed that going alone was a good idea. It was a terrible idea. There were too many undead for any one mage. She found herself wanting to go with. And why not? She had not been summoned to the court for some time, she could go for a week, easily. She shook her head.
"As long as the goal is clear, I'm sure more than one mage would be a good idea. There is safety in numbers..." she paused and locked eyes with him, seeing a fire raging within. "If you would like, I would be willing to go with you. For the sake of earning respect for magic."
He looked at her and truly considered the idea for a moment. She was brave and determined to help. "No, I'm going it alone. I wouldn't want someone as gorgeous and talented as yourself getting into trouble. Or dieing on my account. Not having to worry about any one else will lessen the stress." Plus if he was alone he could vent his true feeling it would be a well needed break from being nice.

How very brave of him. It almost reminded her of... no. That was done. She shook the thought from her head and looked over at him. It just didn't seem right for her to let him go on his own, but if that is what he wanted, then she could not force him to let her go. And then he called her something she had not heard in a very long time: gorgeous and talented. She smiled brightly at him. How very flattering.
"Well... thank you..." she smiled again. "Listen. If ever you find yourself in trouble, just let out a long, low whistle. My wolf will hear it and she can lead me to you." She smiled lightly at him.
He smiled part of him enjoyed that look in her eye, wondered what it was. Another wanted to laugh so bad. She was falling for it she. Had no idea what he was and he had her in the palm of his hand. Obviously the deceiver was far more dominant than his thought of this human actually being interesting. And as far as he was concerned it would remain that way.
"Thank you I'll remember that." He said. It suddenly felt awkward and he was unsure of how to end this conversation. He didn't want to be rude that would break the allusion that he had so masterfully created. "I should probably move on I have thing to plan out, one doesn't walk into hell with out some sort of foresight."
