History: She knows nothing of her past, having woken up in a odd cylinder in a cave only a year ago. She stumbled out in fine clothes and shoes but these soon were wrecked by street bullies and warn by sleeping in gutters. She is looking for work and possibly someone to teach her more magic than what she found herself unknowingly armed with already. Once she tried to find her way back to the cylinder but it seemed to have disappeared.
The young girl was forced to hide for most of the big battle but was found in time to be rescued from the doomed Magic City. When she saw that Avaren was hardly in better shape than Aesir she quickly hid herself away behind a door in alley. Behind the door she found a apartment, clearly ransacked -someone had been trying to get away quickly. However in a box, in a wardrobe in witch Parin chose to hide, she found one magical object left behind; a invisibility cloak!
She wrapped herself in it and tried to shut out the horrible noises outside. Eventually as the fighting moved to another part of the city Parin fell asleep, exhausted . . . till the crash of the falling Aesir awoke her from her fitful sleep. The fighting had stopped, and once the few remaining bits of food ran out in the apartment, Parin emerged only to hear that she was now a citizen of Avaren.
Despairing ever finding out about the Parin d'Aulaire's now, or even leaning more magic at all, Parin's new goal is to get a job, either with horses or in what is left of the great library . . . She secretly still wishes for a family but having been twice abandoned she has become a bit jaded. Since no one ever returned to the apartment Parin has claimed it as her own, though quite a few of the closets are locked, she doesn't really care for she has nothing but her necklace and now her cloak to her name.
After an odd incident in the town square, where she met a Half Elven (seemingly) young man, Parin was able to get a Job as a Stable Girl. She worked for Lord Ryanald for six months taking care of his horse Blackbond until both Horse and Lord were sent to defend the outskirts of Avaren. Now, again jobless, but no longer completely destitute, Parin d'Aulaire looks for another job, still wishing to learn more magic and hoping to one day learn who her family was.
