Kokoro was in the Dark Forest, on the hunt for items of worth. Perhaps she would find something someone had dropped and could sell it for money. Hey, you know what they say, "finders keepers!" it's not like she stole it from the, she just happened to find it.
She wandered through the dark and dreay place with a latern. It was around dusk, though the forest was so thick it already looked like nightfall. As she walked down the eery path, memories started to flow back to her. Ah yes, it happened in the dark much like this. The day when her father was slain by a mysterious group of creatures. The day she got had to run and was separated from her mother. Whether she survived is still unknown.
