Personality: Doesn’t like to fight but will defend himself if he must. Not Quick to anger, and difficult to offend. Values hard physical work. Also, he’s very good at keeping secret
History:
He was born a blacksmith’s son, and lived In Avaren nearly all his life. Began learning the family business around 10 years of age, and officially became his father’s assistant at the age of 13. Learned he had a talent, working with precious metals.
At the age of 17 he was in the forest collecting fire wood for the forge when he was attacked by a wolf. Luckily his father had been coming up to check on him or he probably would have died. But he didn’t, his would was sutured by the local physician and miraculously the wound healed over night. His family new of the curse as did the church.
The Church would have had him Beheaded so he couldn’t kill the innocent. And his family would have locked him up and tried to protect him. So he took a middle road and on the day of the full mood made his way into Dark Forest; where he transformed for the first time.
In the forest he found the werewolf that had cursed him. After a long chat Richard sent word to his family that he wouldn’t be coming back.
Since then his family has passed a way, and he has learned to control his transformations during the days free of the full moon. However the full moon forces his transformation, and turns his mind completely feral.
Not long ago His sire was killed while he was attempting to make peace with an entire pack lycanthropes that had found their way into the forest, and where killing off humans despite the full moon. His Sire was torn apart by the Half-breed child of a silver dragon, who was selling heads for gold.
Richard has now changed his name, and lives among the citizens of Avaren, running off into the forest only on the nights of the Full Moon. In search of the murderer.
